Potty Training Day 3

I know it has been hard to stay home for the last 3 days and not go anywhere but it was so worth it because Holden did so awesome today. He did not have one accident all day and even wanted to wear his underwear under his pants. He filled his sticker chart full before his nap. He stopped asking for the stickers in the afternoon and would just run to the bathroom and say he wanted privacy and shut the door. I am so very proud of my big boy!!



Potty Training Day 2

We had a very successful day. Holden woke up and told me he had to pee so we went straight to the potty. He got his first McQueen sticker of the day. I put underwear on him and shortly after he had an accident but told me right after. I told him we had to take a sticker away for going in his pants. He got so upset at that, telling me he was really sad. That was the only accident he had all day. I did not put his underwear back on. Not sure if we will wear underwear tomorrow or just stay naked one more day. Holden did such an awesome job today. He went potty so many times that I had to double up stickers. Way to go little man, keep it up!

Potty Training Day 1

We introduced Holden to the potty about a year ago and he has gone off and on. Sometimes he would want to pee pee in the potty and other times he would just want to wear a diaper. I did not push the subject too much with his two younger sisters in diapers as well. I have the next week off work so I thought this would be a perfect time to really concentrate on going only in the potty. Holden did so great! He only had 2 accidents about 3 hours into it. I had him in underpants but after the second accident I left him in only his shirt. We made a chart for the fridge and I told him that every time he goes in the potty he can put a McQueen sticker on his chart and when he finishes all the squares for the day he can have a "BIG" surprise (a new toy story toy). Way to go Holden. I just hope the next few days are as successful.....I will keep you posted

My little talking machine

I just wanted to give a little update on Sadie, mostly so that I would not forget to jot down little milestones. Sadie has been saying mamma and dadda for about a month now but the past couple days she is really saying it when she sees us walk into the room. It just melts my heart to hear her sweet little voice. Tonight I was getting her pajamas on for bed and she waved at me and said bye bye. I got so excited I called Ryan into the room and she did the same for him. We got the camera out and of course she could care less to impress us but as soon as the camera shut off she was waving bye once again. I will try and sneak a video in soon if I can. For now I will leave you with a picture of my sweet Sadie

Maddie's first haircut

Little Maddie had her first big girl haircut today. I asked her if she wanted to cut her hair and she got really excited and said "YES" so I went for it! What do you know, she actually sat pretty still for me and let me cut. Here is a couple pictures from before......
