Vegas Weekend!!

Ryan and I spent this last weekend in Vegas. It was our friend Ken's 50th birthday. We had his birthday dinner at Herbs and Rye, one of our favorite restaurants in Vegas

they had a cool "year of the dog" display at Cesar's Palace. Of course I had to take a pic of the Boxer dog

Holly wanted to stop at the famous Vegas sign on our way out

it was very sad and a bit eerie to see the exact place where the Vegas shooting took place
while we were at the Vegas sign, we met a man dressed like Elvis that told us about this old historic bar about an hour from Vegas. We took his advice and had a little visit on our way home
it was built in 1913 and has been featured on the Travel, Food and Discovery channel. The mountain right behind this saloon is the place where Carole Lombard's plane crashed and she along with 22 other people were killed. It was said that Clark Gable spent three days at this bar waiting to hear word of her fate. There were lots of original pieces in the bar including bullet holes from a shoot out that took place in 1915. It was a cool way to end our weekend

Winter Break Fun

Ryan and the kids enjoyed 3 weeks off for Winter Break. We stayed pretty busy and sure enjoyed the time off. Ryan and Holden along with my dad and Mike went to see the new Star Wars movie. They loved it
as of December 17th I am officially full time and have my own studio. I put a few new things up but I am going to get it painted and add my own decor....hopefully a spring project for me

 dinner with the kiddos

on January 6th we headed up to Arrowhead with our friends. We had a great weekend and enjoyed lots of relaxing

NYE 2017

We spent the last day of 2017 at the Moore's house. We counted down the new year at 9:00 (east coast New Year) with the kids. We normally leave around 10 because the kids are so tired but this year they actually made it to midnight.

we had a lazy New Years Day. Kids were pretty tired so they stayed in their jammie's all day
