A New Family Ride!

Ryan and I have been talking about getting another vehicle for a while now. Our van is getting older and bigger things were starting to happen. After the van broke down on Sadie's birthday we decided it was a good time to trade it in while it still had some value. We narrowed it down to the new Honda Pilot or the Ford explorer. After test driving both cars I could not get over the fact that we would be losing so much interior space. With 3 car seats and 3 growing kids I felt the best decision would be another van. I really thought I was done driving a van but I could not resist all the conveniences it has to offer so here is our new ride! Hopefully this one is good to us for the next 10 years.....I figure by that time with no car seats I can get a cool SUV but for now I will enjoy all the extra space

Can't believe our youngest girl is 4 years old. Sadie, you are so much fun to be around. You are very strong headed but you have such a zest for life. Always performing! Can't wait to see what life has in store for you or should I say what you have in store for life!

Birthday Weekend!!

We celebrated Sadie and Peter's birthday's at my parents house on Saturday. It was a crazy hot day so we spent lots of time in the pool

 on Sunday we headed over to Drew and Jenna's house in Yucaipa. Drew was Ryan's old vice principal at the middle school. We got to see lots of old friends from when Ryan first move down here. They have a beautiful house and an amazing pool that the kids loved swimming in

 since I had to work on Sadie's birthday I let her open her gifts on Monday so I could spend the whole day with her

 playing with her poly pocket color changer. Holden and Maddie were at school so Sadie did not have to share with anyone

 Drew and Jenna's cat had a littler of 9 kittens. The kids have wanted a cat ever since we lost Cash 2 years ago. We ended up taking one of the kitten's on Monday. Holden named him Luke Skywalker. The kids are in love with him

 I had plans to take Sadie to breakfast on Tuesday morning for her birthday. Our van ended up breaking down at the kids school. Poor Sadie and I got stranded up there and had to call a neighbor to pick us up. My mom came down to watch the kids while I worked. We ended up going to subway before I left (not the birthday breakfast we planned.) A bit of a stressful and crazy morning but at least she had a really fun birthday party on Saturday  

First Day of School!!!

Can't believe it's that time of year again, Yesterday Holden started first grade and Maddie started Kindergarten. Wow, time is flying by. Both Holden and Maddie love their teachers and we know they will have a great year ahead!!
