20102011Holden Noah turned 2!!! We are so proud of our little man. He has such a big heart. We fall in love with him more everyday. Here is what this little man has been up to

*Wears 2t clothes and some 3t (tops only)

*Wears size 4 diapers

*We started the potty training thing, he is doing good but we don't practice everyday. He has brought the potty to us and takes his pants off then pees in the potty so we know he knows how it works

*Loves Micky mouse club house, yo gabba and toy story

*Sleeps with a ton of stuffed animals and books in his crib

*Loves to read. He reads to us now and follows the words with his finger

*Loves music and dances to everything

*Loves the water

*Sleeps from 7pm to 9 or 10am. I have to go get him up because he usually just wakes up and looks through his books quietly

*takes a 3 hour nap in the afternoon

*Talking a lot more clearly and in full sentences

*can count to 10

*weighs 27.3 lbs (40%)

*his height is 37 1/4 (97%)

*super picky about his food, we are really trying to work on that

Holden is such a great kid. We love you so much Holdie and momma and dadda are so proud of the little boy you have become!

Happy 1 year Birthday to Maddie

20102011Wow, our little girl turned one. I can't even believe how fast this year has flown by. Between having Holden and baby #3 on the way I feel like we just blinked and Maddie turned a year old. Maddie is such a crazy critter, she keeps us on our feet. She hates to sit still and loves chasing after her brother, she is always on the go. Here is what she has been up to....

*Wears 18 month clothes

*Wears size 4 diapers

*Has 2 teeth on the bottom and 2 teeth on top

*climbs the stairs in seconds

*learned to climb over her baby gate

*walks around all the furniture

*can walk if she is pushing something but wont take the steps on her own yet

*Loves food, I have yet to find a food she does not like. She sits in her highchair and feeds herself

*Sleeps from 7:30pm. until 8:30 or 9am

*Takes a 2-3 hour nap in the afternoon

*Says mamma and dadda, she talks a lot but it is in her own language

*Loves playing with our cat Cash and pulling his hair, he must not mind because he keeps coming back for more

*weighs 20lbs 9oz (43%)

*her height is 31 1/2 (97%)

Maddie has such a crazy and awesome personality. We love you so much little mamma and we can't wait to see all the great milestones to come!

Some things we have been up to.....

Here are some pictures from the past few weeks. The kids are getting so big and really starting to play together. Holden really enjoys having a playmate around all the time, even though she bullies him a bit.

Happy 11 months!!

Our little baby girl is not so little anymore. Maddie is 11 months today! She has been crawling for a few months but it was the army crawl so we thought she would skip the normal crawling all together but boy were we wrong. Once she figured out how fast she could be on her knees there was no stopping her and that was about the time she stopped being my easy little girl. Here is what crazy Maddie has been up to....

*She is obsessed with climbing the stairs, she can make it all the way up in seconds

*She learned how to climb over her baby gate

*She can get herself out of her baby Einsteins and jumpers

*hates having her diaper changed

*always wants to be around people especially her brother

*wears size 4 diapers

*wears 18 month clothes

*loves eating whatever we are having, not much into her bottles right now

*loves fresh fruit

*stands up on everything and can walk while pushing something

*takes a 2-3 hour nap each afternoon

*sleeps from 7:30pm to 8:30 or 9am (thank goodness she is a good sleeper)

Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's day with my family. Ryan and the kids made me breakfast in bed, Holden helped me eat my veggie bacon. They gave me my gifts and cards in bed, so cute.

Holden got a kick out of the singing card he got for me.
