Summer is almost officially over, and I can't wait for fall and cooler weather, well hopefully.
Holden had his picture day on August 9th
because I'm on the board, Ryan and I got to be on the field with the boys and have our pictures taken with them

right after the pictures, Ryan and the girls headed to Newport Beach for our friend Ethan's birthday. I stayed back with Holden since he had a scrimmage that evening
I went with my parents to have a little visit on what would have been Peter's 38th birthday
had a little visit with grandma, grandpa, nana and papa as well
on August 12th my dad put on the 2nd golf tournament in honor of Peter. It was a great turnout

Maddie spent the weekend with Mia at the River
dressed up for one of the scrimmage games
on August 16th we had a pancake breakfast for the football team, the cheerleaders and the athletic trainers. Ryan and I helped cook and serve the players

our season opener was August 21st. We played Narbonne high school and blew them away. Here is Holden getting ready for his first Varsity game of the season

Carrie took Sophia and Maddie to the beach on Saturday. It was super windy, so they moved away from the sand
We saw Jeff Dye at the Improv last night. One of the best comedy shows I've seen in a long time, he is hilarious
