This Christmas Eve was a little different. We did not have to travel anywhere. We spent the day together getting things ready for Christmas day. We started a new tradition this year, the kids got to open all their gifts from gramma and poppa while they watched them on the ipad.

next we put out some milk and cookies for Santa
time to open our very last book, Twas the night before Christmas
Snowflake left the kids a note telling them that he was going to get a ride to the north pole with Santa so he would not need his Christmas magic tonight.....that meant that the kids could touch him and kiss him goodbye. The kids did not want him to leave, they were very sad to say goodbye
