First vacation of the summer

We started off our summer with a week in Newport and a day at Sea World. Ryan's last day of work was Friday the 24th. As soon as he got home we packed up the van and headed to Newport.....Here is the view from our condo

 

 the next morning everyone was up early and ready to go to Sea World

 The next afternoon Ryan and I took Sadie and Holden to the arcade and pool while amma tried to get maddie to take a nap

 hanging out with auntie DG and cousin Nate before they went home 

 Ryan and I found this little sports bar to hang out at on Monday night. We enjoyed an appetizer and drinks while watching the Angels game

 We headed to the beach the next morning. Holden was so excited to take the shuttle bus

 the kids loved playing in the waves but shortly after we got there Maddie got knocked over by a wave and did not want to go near the water after. She sat in amma's lap for most of the afternoon

 we got back to the condo and headed straight to the pool to cool off

 ampa joined us after his morning of golf

 we went to Ruby's in Laguna for dinner

 we tried hard to get a good family picture but the kids did not feel like cooperating

 we went in the pool after for a cool down swim..... I think we finally tired these kids out

 Ryan and I had a really nice dinner at the beachcomber restaurant on the Crystal Cove beach.....it was delicious with an amazing view

on our last day we had lunch in the play area and let the kids have some fun before heading home

We had such a good time on our vacation this year!!! Can't wait for our next adventure!!
