August Update!

I had a little visit with Peter for what would have been his 37th birthday 

We laid my nana to rest on August 16th

Holden joined his friends in an escape room for Kaleb's birthday.......they did not escape LOL 

Holden's first scrimmage on August 17th

after the scrimmage we headed to my parents' house to celebrate Uncle Mike and Sadie's birthday 

after that we headed to the Johnson's to celebrate Kaleb's birthday

the Dragna's hosted an end of the summer swim party on August 24th

 

Happy 13th birthday Sadie

Our little Sadie lady turned 13 years old on August 18th. Her birthday fell on a Sunday this year so no school for her, she was very excited about this 

up bright and early 

I made Sadie a banana pudding cake 

Sadie chose sushi for her birthday dinner 

 

First Day of School

Sadie's first day of 8th grade on August 6th

Maddie's freshman year and Holden's sophomore year, August 7th 

here's to an awesome 8th, 9th and 10th grade year!!!!

 

End of summer!

Here are a few things we have been up to as our summer comes to an end......

a little bike ride to Starbucks with Sadie 

I went to the garden to do some weeding and harvesting 

yummy homegrown carrots 

the kids had a great time at the movies and shopping at the mall. Some of us adults met up for happy hour 

bath time for Radley 

Maddie went to the beach with her friends, last beach trip of the summer 

 back to school shopping with the girls at the Mills mall
