Happy Easter

Holden and Maddie had a really fun Easter. When Ryan was a little boy he would get a towel and make it into a nest and then the Easter bunny would come and fill it up while he was sleeping. We thought it would be cute to show Holden this tradition and we had him make a nest, we told him the Easter bunny was going to come and fill it up with lots of fun treats! He was really excited. Dinner with friends

On Thursday night I took the kids to hang out with my friend Tonya and her 3 kids. We met up with our other girlfriends at Spaghetti Factory, our favorite. I dropped Holden off at my moms right before dinner so I could relax a little. Maddie loved hanging out with the girls.

At the beginning of April we woke up to a blanket of white stuff. Although it melted pretty quick we got a few pictures to remember it! Hard to believe the weather has been in the 90's this week

Here are some recent pictures of the kids. Daddy made Holden a tent out of the box that my chair came in. It was the coolest thing to him for about 3 day's, now I think he is over it.

9 months old

On March 22 little Maddie turned 9 months old!! Here are some facts about our baby girl.....

*Weighs 19 lbs

*is 29 1/2 inches long (95%)

*she is almost crawling. She can pretty much scoot her way around the room

*has her bottom 2 teeth

* stands in her crib

*is wearing 9 month and 12 month clothes

*wears size 3 diapers (same as her 21 month brother)

*Loves all fruits and sweet veggies like squash and carrots. I have to mix the green veggies with apple sauce or yogurt

*sleeps from 8:30 pm to 7:30 or 8 am

Maddie is such a good girl. We are so blessed to have her in our lives. We love you so much Maddie girl!

Another year older

On March 23 I turned 31. We were planning a Vegas getaway but since I am expecting baby #3 we decided to wait until next year. I had a bit of a gambling itch so we headed to Temecula with our friends Hillary and Logan. We had such a blast. My parents had the kids overnight so we got to relax and have some fun. I got spoiled up this year. My mother-in-law painted me this awesome picture of Atticus. I hung it up in my room so I can see it all the time. She did such a great job, I love it.

We have been needing another rocking chair since our old one fell apart on us. My parents bought me this really comfortable rocker recliner. I am all set for the next baby and all the rocking that comes with it. Maddie thinks it's pretty comfortable.

I had a great birthday this year. Ryan got me a Kindle. I have been wanting one for so long and I can't wait to download some books and start using it.
