Christmas Eve

This Christmas Eve felt so different. We started this renovation at the holidays since we all have some time off but its been more work than we had anticipated! I know it will all be worth it but it's been a lot. We woke up and got right to painting
It poured rain all day and we discovered a leak in Holden's window

I didn't have time to do all my usual baking, but the girls made some easy treats

They opened their Christmas Eve boxes

our annual Christmas eve picture. We had to get Radley in there. We did not think he would make it to the holidays, and we are so happy he is still with us

The kids made some gingerbread houses

before dinner we had a nice facetime with gramma and poppa. I forgot to take pictures this year. We got the very sad news that Shane's dad Harry had a massive heart attack and passed away. So hard to be this far away but glad we could have a little facetime visit.

we made our snowman pizzas for dinner

the kids wanted to open uncle Mike and auntie DJ's gift

the kids set up their Santa sacks

they still like to have a sleepover on Christmas Eve

proofing some croissants for the morning

 Santa was here
