We had an awesome time visiting our family in Canada from the 30th-9th. It was so great to spend time with everyone. We came home with some great memories
these girls are ready for the plane ride and I must say they did really well
Maddie was allowed to have some gingerale on the plane...nice treat
we arrived at gramma's house. Opening up some gifts form gramma and poppa
the next day was Canada day so we got ready and headed to the park for the parade
after the parade we headed to the carnival for some food and rides
the neighbors across the street just had a litter of 11 Great Dane pups about a week before we arrived. The kids loved going over for some puppy play time
back at gramma's for some dinner
Holden and Linc with some sparklers
we tried to have a sleep over at Lincoln's house but Holden ended up wanting to go back to gramma's house. Hopefully next time we are up the boys can have their sleep over
Shane and Melissa's dog Stu....he passed away the day we left. He was such a good and loyal dog
out on the boat with some fishing action
Holden really enjoyed hanging out at his counsins house
back on the boat the next day
picnic dinner at gramma's
had to visit this place everyday
and this place too of course
we dressed the kids up on the 4th of July
Ryan and I hit the farmers market in the morning
the folk festival was going on so we docked the boat near by to listen to the bands
Maddie caught her first fish
heading to the park to play
the next day we took Holden, Lincoln and Sadie out on the boat but Holden was feeling under the weather so he slept and relaxed the whole time
BBQ at Mel and Shane's
On Monday we had a burial service for Ryan's nana who passed away in Feburary. We were so happy to be there for this. After the burial we had a little reception and visit with the Knapp side of the family
after we got back home auntie Mel took the girls to get their ears pierced for their birthday
Sadie was unsure and wanted to hold my hand
both the girls did amazing
the one and only rain storm we had the whole time. The kids played in it for a while
Mel, Shane, Ry and I enjoyed a kid free dinner at Brewery Bay, our favorite restaurant
cheers
relaxing day at Moose Beach with the kids
the kids dug a nice little mud bath to play in
ice cream treats from gramma
our last dinner together
Holden saying goodbye to his best bud Bear
Holden got super emotional when we had to leave. That made it so much harder to say goodbye
reading his favorite Lego book cheered him up a little
until our next adventure........
