We had such an awesome visit with Ryan's parents. They arrived on March 18th. A few hours after they got back to our house we had a crazy hail storm along with lots of thunder and lighting and a ton of rain. It lasted a few hours and then it was fabulous weather the rest of their trip (thank goodness)
our backyard was a river
Randy and Ryan left the house at 4:45am to catch the sunrise at Joshua National Park
while the boys were picture taking, Kris and I took the kids shopping at the Cabazon Outlets
We had my family over on the 22nd to celebrate mine and Kris's birthdays
waiting to dig in
my mom watched the kids on my birthday so we could have a nice kid free dinner at Lazy Dog
Randy and Ryan headed on another adventure to Palm Springs. They took the tram to the top of the mountain and hiked around
Kris and I took the kids to downtown Palm Springs
it was a really hot day so we headed up to the pool to cool down
we went whale watching in Balboa. While we were waiting to board the boat we took the kids on the Ferris wheel
the whales were pretty far away but at least we got to see a few
there were lots of dolphins
we walked down to the beach after
a little seal was sun bathing on the sand
a little dinner before we leave
and ice cream of course
beautiful sunset on the drive home
while I was at work everyone headed to Idyllwild for a few hours in the morning
and a cool off swim in the afternoon
enjoying the sun with gramma and poppa
