Happy Halloween!!

We had such a fun Halloween this year. Holden had so much fun dressing up in his lion costume. We had my parents and Mike and D.J over. Here is Auntie D.J and Uncle Mike with baby Maddie
Holden showed us his new dance moves while watching Yo Gabba Gabba He had to take a quick break, too much dancing Grandpa and Uncle Mike carved the pumpkins while Holden explained how he wanted them to look
He thought the insides looked pretty cool
but then got scared when it came time to touch it He wanted to make sure Uncle Mike was drawing the face the right way
Showing Uncle Mike were to put the eyes

all he wanted to do was take the top on and off
Wow, this pumpkin thing is pretty cool

Clapping at the finished product

Next we got him dressed in his lion costume. He tried to sneak a paw full of candy when he thought no one was watching
oops I got caughtok better give it back
We set the pumpkins out front
and took Holden out to run off some energy
he thought he would take a moment and look around
now he's offthere was no stopping him
Auntie D.J and baby Maddie came out to watch
there he goes running down the street
Uncle Mike had to chase after himok I think he got some of that energy out
he stopped to pat sister on the head
Maddie loves to pose
So here we are after the first house. Holden is not sure what just happened.
Wait a minute, someone just put candy in my bag... once he got it he was ready to go...
now he was running to the door
Maddie followed along to watch her brother
"trick or treat"
he is really getting the hang of this thing nowhe even wanted to share his candy with the neighbor
on our way back. We took a break to wait for our friend Char.
Ok round 2. Trick or treating with friends is much more fun
What a fun night. Holden was exhausted from all the activities. He slept until 10am the next day!
