8 months old

Our beautiful baby girl turned 8 months old on the 18. Sadie is such a great baby. She is so happy all the time. She is so entertained by everything around her. Here is what our baby girl has been up to:

*wears size 4 diapers

*wears 9-12 month clothes

*takes 2 naps a day

*sleeps from 7pm to 6 or 630am

*sitting up by herself

*loves all foods. I still have not found a food she has rejected

*loves eating fresh fruit out of her mesh sucker

*she is teething and her gums are white but the tooth has not come up yet (almost)

These last 8 months have gone by so quickly little miss Sadie. Thank you for all the shun shine you have brought into our lives



Happy Easter

We started off the Easter weekend on Saturday by dying eggs. The kids had so much fun. Holden was so excited to see how the eggs turned out....

Holden wanted to eat one of the eggs but as soon as he cracked it open he said "ew it stinks, throw it away"next, we stuck with the Knapp tradition of making a "nest" out of a towel and leaving it for the Easter bunny to fillHolden was very proud of his nestlooks like the Easter bunny made a visitanother tradition we started with the kids was planting "magic" jelly beans....we told Holden that they would grow into a surprise on Easter morningHe remembered as soon as he woke up to check on the "magic" beans. What do you know, they grew into lollipops. checking out all the cool stuff the bunny lefthe has been asking for this Gater Golf for a while now. He was so excited the Easter bunny rememberedMaddie woke up a little later. She was so excited to check it all outMaddie LOVES baby dollsafter church we headed over to my parents house. The kids got another basket form amma and ampayeah a coloring booklucky kidsMore spoils from uncle Mike and Auntie DG. Thanks so much for the awesome baskets. A Day in the Life

Holden and Maddie are pretty much non stop all day long. I snapped a few pictures while they were playing nice together. Here, they wanted to play "school" and put on their backpacks....

little Maddie is ALWAYS looking for things to get intoshe sits down for 2 seconds before she is at it againknocking over furniture and throwing clothesguiltyhe felt really sick that day that's why he was allowed to have his soother. We have it down to nap time and bed time only (good luck to us)Maddie was going crazy like always so I turned the camera on to record her and wouldn't you know it, she calmed herself right down. They always stop what they are doing when the camera turns on of course.

Maddie loves shoes

Little Maddie's newest thing is going into mommy's closet and trying on all her shoes......If she ends up liking shoes as much as her mommy, we are in trouble

Teaching Atticus some tricks

Holden absolutely loves giving Atticus his treats. He makes him shake a paw first before he gets his treat. He has to do this every night before bed. This is the best video I could get. Holden always stops performing when he sees the camera on him

Future Iron Chef's

I bought the kids this play kitchen and they LOVE it!! Holden loves to cook vegetable soup and popcorn. Maddie enjoys talking on the phone and washing dishes. For the most part, they play nice together but there have been a few fights over who gets to cook the food.
