I was off Easter weekend this year. Maddie was supposed to have a soccer game on Saturday morning, but it was cancelled due to the rain. Maddie spent the afternoon at a friend's house and Holden spent the evening at his friends. We waited until all the kids were home before dyeing our eggs which ended up being almost 10pm.
I worked on the cousin's baskets in the afternoon
after the eggs, the kids made their nests
and planted their jelly beans
the Easter Bunny made it!
these kids are definitely growing up. I had to wake them up at 8:45 in the morning
picking their jelly bean pops
Maddie was the last one up
we went to church in the morning then enjoyed a nice brunch with my family at Mimi's. After brunch everyone came back to our house for dessert
opening some gifts from amma and ampa
we did a little egg hunt for the kids but made it indoors since it was wet and cold outside
we had a facetime with Mike and DJ while we celebrated my birthday
