After 4 long years (thanks to covid) we were able to visit our family in Canada. We flew out on June 27th. Because of my work schedule and Holden's football, Holden and I were only able to stay a week, but Ry and the girls got an extra week of visits. We had a great trip to Orillia that was long overdue.
we sure miss Willie
we enjoyed a Tim's coffee everyday
playing bocce ball
bike ride to the park
we stayed one night at Black River. This was only 15 minutes from Kris and Randy's house, but it felt like you were far away. These cabins were right next to a flowing river. The kids enjoyed floating around and fishing
dinner at Mel and Shane's after we got back
On July 1st, Canada Day, we walked to the lake to watch the fireworks
the kids took a dip in the lake before the show
lighting some sparklers on the walk home
we had dinner at our favorite restaurant, Brewery Bay
before dinner, we spent the afternoon at Mel and Shane's friend's house on the lake
we celebrated the kids birthdays
uncle Shane took Sadie and Holden fishing the next day
Holden caught a catfish
dinner at Mel and Shane's
Holden loved visiting Poppa's old MVP shop, he came home with a new collection of cards
nice stroll along the boardwalk
back at auntie Mel's
last picture before Holden and I flew home
Sadie loved Willie
the girls had a blast listening to the music and shopping
they went back to Black River for 2 nights. The kids had a blast swimming and fishing
We had such a great visit spending time with our family. Can't wait for our next adventure
