Thanksgiving Trip

We took a road trip to Texas the week of Thanksgiving. We headed out early the morning of the 19th. Following the Iversons and Tapia's, our first destination was New Mexico 

we stopped for breakfast in Pheonix Arizona 

we made it to New Mexico around 5pm

Holden had to get a cowboy hat 

dinner before heading to our hotel 

a little swim in the morning 

this is out of order.... this was breakfast in Pheonix 

we made it to White Sands National Park 

we left White Sands and headed to Carlsbad. We had dinner at Yellow Brix shortly after arriving 

the next day we headed to the Carlsbad Caverns 

we left the caverns and headed to Texas!

We stayed with Adrien's sister Pricilla. Here are the girls hanging out in the casita

the next morning, we drove to Waco. We stopped at the Waco massacre compound. It was pretty eerie 

we visited the Dr. Pepper Museum 

and of course the Magnolia Farms 

the next day, Adrien and Edwin took all the kids to an indoor water park in Arlington 

we had some adult time at the Fort Worth Stock Yards 

on Thanksgiving, Ryan, Holden and the Iversons went to the Dallas Cowboys game

the girls stayed home to cook 

the girls entertained us with some dance routines 

and a concert in the movie theater room 

we took the kids to the stock yards before heading back home 

we left Texas and stopped for the night in Roswell New Mexico 

late dinner in the hotel room

next stop, home

 

we had such an amazing road trip
