New Digs!!

We closed escrow on our new house on February 16th. We hired a contractor to do a few things for us before we moved in. We had the popcorn ceilings scraped, the whole inside painted, new tile floor downstairs and the baseboards done. We also changed out most of the light fixtures as well as all the electrical outlets and new appliances.....it was tons of work but totally worth the wait. We are so happy with how it turned out. Here are a few before and after pics....we still have lots to do but it's coming along 

 our friend Kevin came over to do our electrical work. The kids love hanging out with Emmett and Kennedy so they played while the adults worked 

 our wood looking tile is almost complete!

 our master closet is a bit on the small side so my dad installed some closet organizers for us...it made a huge difference 

 we ordered a sleeper sofa for our living room 

 Moving day FINALLY!! We made the move on March 11th

 when we got to the house our contractor surprised us with this sign and champagne 

 Atticus has settled in very well

Valentines Day 2017

This Valentines Day was a little different this year...it was just me and the kids. They woke up to some treats in the morning 

 after school they shared all their valentine goodies and we read all the cards together

 this guy lost another tooth!! He was super excited 

Month in Review

This month has been so busy. I have been terrible at keeping up with my blog. After months of stressful searching, we finally found a house that we love. We closed escrow on February 16th. The house is only a few minutes to my parents and to my work...we could not ask for much more and we are so excited to move in. We are having some work done before we make the move so those pictures will come soon. Here is a few things we have been up to this month. My parents took a trip to Hawaii and Ryan had a business trip in San Fransisco...it just so happened to be the same week. The kids and I had a few days to ourselves so we made the most of it. Here are the girls rocking some new curlers that I was experimenting with....they turned out better then I thought they would

 Ryan was gone for Valentines day so he gave me my gift a little early.....I LOVE my new rings 

 I took the kids shopping and we had a little lunch at Ontario Mills 

 It was pretty warm and the kids really wanted to go swimming so I heated the spa and we enjoyed some pool time

 movie date to see the new Lego Batman movie

 gramma and poppa sent an early Vday surprise 

 On February 19th we went to Jumping Jacks for our friend Emmett's 5th birthday

 after the party we came back home to celebrate amma's birthday 

 on the 23rd I went to my 3rd paint nite. This was my favorite one so far. Definitely need some improvement but so much fun to get together with these girls
