Newport Beach!

We took the kids down to Newport to stay with my parents. They were staying at their time share the week of Labor day. We got to spend a few day's with them. We had a great and relaxing time. Holden just LOVES the pool and the beach, he had so much fun! Little Maddie was such a good girl, she loved being outside. Holden can't wait for his next trip to the beach.

A trip home to Canada

On August 28 Ryan's gram passed away. She was 96 years old. Ryan was lucky enough to be able to fly home and spend time with his family. Here are some pictures from his trip.

Happy Birthday Uncle Mike

Yesterday we celebrated Uncle Mike's 32nd birthday in Lake Arrowhead. Holden had a blast running around on the deck and little Maddie enjoyed the fresh mountain air. Here are some pictures from the day.

Holden turns 14 months!!!!

Our sweet little man is 14 months old today. Holden is learning so much everyday. We are having so much fun watching him learn and grow. Here is what he has been up to:

• Loves Sesame street and dances every time the song comes on
• Elmo is still his favorite
• Wears 12 and 18 month clothes
• Wears size 3 diapers
• He is walking everywhere, he has become so confident that he runs now if he really wants something
• LOVES his cat. He lays on cash every morning and gets soooo excited when Cash walks in the room
• Loves petting the dogs
• He is talking a lot more. His favorite words are: cat, dog, ball, nana, up and mom and dad of course
• Still loves to see pictures of himself and the family. He points to everyone and says there name
• Still loves books and getting read to
• Goes to bed at 7:30pm and wakes up at 7:30am
• Takes a 1 1/2 to 2 hour nap each day
• Loves bath time
• Has his top 4 and bottom 4 teeth
• Pasta and mac and cheese are his favorite food right now. He loves all fruits and will eat his veggies if we hide it in the pasta.

Holden, daddy and mommy are having so much fun watching you grow. You are such a special boy and we love you so much!!

Maddie is 2 months old

Our little girl is 2 months already! Here is what baby girl has been up to:

• Still sleeps most of the day but she is much more aware of her surroundings


• Sleeps from 10pm to 6am most nights


• Weighs 12.4 lbs


• Is 24 inches long


• Smiles and giggles at us


• She LOVES her brother. He will come up to her, pat her head and she will just smile from ear to ear when she looks at him


• Wears size 2 diapers


• Wears 3-6 month clothing
  

We are so blessed to have baby Maddie. She is such a good baby, we love her so much.
