November Update!

Time continues to fly! Life is busy with 3 teenagers but with football being over, it has slowed down a bit thankfully.

On November 8th we went to 90's country night at Punch Bowl Social 

Update on the pets: Luke seems to have turned a corner. It wasn't looking good a couple weeks ago and he continued to not eat and lose weight. He's now eating a lot better and gaining a little weight. He hasn't thrown up in over a week so that is really good too

Our little Radley is still doing pretty good. His energy has seemed to come back the last few days, he gets tired a lot faster but he's still eating and drinking. He's on the last bit of his medicine and the swelling in his lymph nodes is starting to return  

We were home for Veterans weekend, and the kids had a 4 day weekend so we took advantage and decorated for Christmas. We got some Christmas drinks to start our decorating day

my snack bar duties are done for the season. I had to go down there and clear all of our left over inventory out. So happy to be done!

Sadie made us a nice breakfast at 12:00 in the afternoon LOL. She made some grinch waffles, eggs and sausage

It's been cold and rainy lately. I love cooking on cold days 

I made some ravioli lasagna 

and some Tortilla soup 

 I finally finished my photo wall with the pictures that we took in Hawaii 

Halloween Weekend!

Holden's last varsity game was on the 30th. They had their best game of the season winning 37-7. It was a blast to watch them

we had a pretty chill Halloween. We stayed home for the first time in the 9 years we have lived in this house. Our friends are camping in Dumont this weekend but with the football game and everything going on with Radley, we decided to stay home. 

we only got about 30 trick or treaters this year

Ryan and Holden watched the world series 

Sadie and I watched a couple scary movies, they were more stupid than scary lol. Maddie had fun with her friends 

 

October update!

October has flown by so quickly. To be honest, this year has flown by! 

On October 3rd Des and I took Maddie and Peyton to see Megan Moroney at the Greek Theater in LA. This was Maddie's first big concert, and she had an amazing time

these girls are cheap dates, they wanted Taco Bell for dinner LOL 

the next day we had our football comedy night fundraiser at 3 Vinos in downtown Covina 

we ended up having a good turnout and the silent auction was a success 

on October 7th we celebrated Nathan, Adrien and Keith's birthday with dinner at Brio 

on October 11th my friend Kelly hosted a Halloween bunco, we had so much fun

this has been such a hard month. We found out that our boxer Radley has Lymphoma. This news was truly devastating to learn. We don't know how much longer we have but we are going to spoil him and love on him every day we have him

this boy has our hearts 

as if we didn't have enough going on with Radley, Luke got pretty sick and stopped eating. We took him in, and he spent 2 days at the vet on IVs. They think he has pancreatitis. It's not curable but it is treatable. between both animals, they are on about 7 meds. Good times in the Knapp household right now 

the kid's homecoming was October 18th. They all had a great time. Sadie took pictures at her friend Sophia's house

we had our last home varsity game on October 24th. The end is in sight! Our last game of the season is October 30th, and we will find out if we have a spot in the CIF finals 

 Ryan Holden and Maddie went to our friends Halloween party last night. Sadie and I stayed back to keep an eye on Radley. His meds have him going pee about every hour so we can't leave him alone for long. They had a great time
