So this Easter was a bit different. We enjoyed lots of Easter fun on Saturday. My parents stopped by in the morning to drop off some Easter treats. We had a short visit form the door way
the girls made some cupcakes
they all enjoyed frosting them
we frosted some Easter sugar cookies
I made a homemade banana bunt cake...I wanted it with cream cheese frosting but Ryan and Holden love chocolate frosting so I compromised
next, we dyed some Easter eggs
the kids made their nests before bed
we almost forgot to plant our "magic jelly beans"
the Easter Bunny arrived
they slept in until 6:30
our jelly beans grew!

I watched the 9:30 mass service from St. Patrick's Cathedral. It was defiantly a strange feeling attending Easter Sunday mass from my living room, but thankful that they were streaming it
the kids had an Easter egg hunt in the afternoon
our very untraditional Easter dinner. We BBQed salmon and shrimp and had Caesar salad and garlic bread
