Happy Thanksgiving 2019

We had a nice and relaxing Thanksgiving this year. I started cooking pretty early. The kids woke up after 8 which was a really nice sleep in for them

it was so cold and rainy all day. It was a welcome change and made it nice to have the oven on for a while 

we headed over to Gabe and Michelle's in the afternoon. Mike and Deborah got snowed in at their house so they couldn't make it down this year

End of the season

Holden had a great winter ball season this year. He got to play different positions like catcher and pitcher. He did great. Here are some pics of his last couple games

since Ryan and I were in Laguna on his second to last game, my dad stepped in to help coach that game

after his last game we took the team to Pizza Royal to celebrate the season. Ryan said some nice words about each player and one of the moms made some cards with pictures for all the kids 

Weekend getaway

Ryan and I enjoyed a night away at Surf and Sand, it is our favorite hotel in Laguna Beach. It was a late Anniversary/birthday getaway. The weather could not have been better. Here is a view from our room....

we had a sunset dinner at The Deck. It was walking distance from our hotel

after dinner we hung out at our hotel. They had some live music

Oak Glen

We spent the day in Oak Glen on Sunday. We celebrated Michelle's birthday. The weather was really nice. The kids had fun going on some hiking adventures and climbing trees
