Last Day of Basketball

Holden's last basketball game was on August 26th. We are so proud of him. Holden had never played before and missed the first three practises while we were in Hawaii. He met his team and played for the first time at the first game. He really had no idea what to do. He made so much progress through the season and really blew us away with his defense. He definitely wants to continue playing and getting better

 that night we went to our friends house to watch the fight. Poor Holden had a really bad injury. He slipped and smashed his mouth on the corner of their coffee table. He knocked out a permanent front tooth and fractured his bone. Thankfully our awesome dentist came in for us that night and was able to put the tooth back in with some stitches and a wire. He also pulled a baby tooth that got pushed up in his gums. It was pretty scary but he is healing really well. His mouth swelled up pretty bad but it is getting better every day. 

Happy 6th Birthday Sadie

Our youngest little princess turned 6 years old on August 18th. It was a Friday so she had to go to school. Sadie woke up to some decorations and a couple of little toys

 since it was my day off, I brought donuts for Sadie's class. I got to stay and hand them out. The class sang to her, it was super cute and I am so glad I got to be there 

 after school we took Sadie to get her birthday present. All she wanted was a new build a bear. She named her new friend Dotty 

 she wanted Lilly to be there for the new adoption

 after the mall, my parents joined us for Sadie's birthday dinner at Joe's Crab Shack. Sadie requested this restaurant because she wanted Salmon but she ended up ordering chicken nuggets LOL

Party for Ampa and Sadie

On August 13th we celebrated Ampa and Sadie's birthday at my parents. My dad's birthday was July 19th but it was such a busy summer for everyone that we could not find a free weekend to get together. Sadie was happy to share her party with Ampa. The kids were in the pool for most of the day.

First Day Of School 2017

The kids started school on August 7th. They were very excited and love their teachers. They made lots of friends last year so it was so nice for them to see everyone on the first day

End of Summer Fun

We had a fun end to our crazy busy summer. On July 22nd, Ryan and I joined our friends Christina and Kevin at the Tim McGraw and Faith Hill concert. We had so much fun. It was an added bonus that the concert was only 10 minutes from our house.
