Happy 5th Birthday Sadie!!

How has 5 years gone by since you came into our lives. Sadie loves life and always has a smile on her face. This little girl makes life so fun!!!

 following tradition just like at our old house I set up all her gifts the night before so she sees it first thing in the morning 

 awake at 6:15

 and very excited to open her gifts 

 after dinner we took the birthday girl out for ice cream

First Day Of School

The kids started school on August 8th. I can't even believe we have all three kids in school. I thought  I would be way more emotional but I think with the move and everything being so overwhelming lately I did not have a lot of time to dwell on it. Sadie was so excited to start school that she made it very easy for me to say goodbye that morning

End of Summer Blues

As the summer was coming to an end, we still had no offers on our house. We decided to wait a year to sell since the kids were starting school very soon. Well, as luck would have it we got a full price offer the day we were going to pull it off the market. It's been a wild ride ever since. It was a quick escrow so we had to make a lot of decisions. We enrolled the kids at Victoria Groves since we did not want them to start in Beaumont and pull them out after two weeks. I moved into my parents house with the kids the day before school started...Ryan stayed back to help pack the house up. The last week we were in the house we made lots of plans to say goodbye to our friends. Holden was invited by his friend Nathan to go to San Diego for the day and visit the USS Midway. He had the best time. After that he got to have his first ever sleep over at his friend Caleb's house. They had loads of fun playing video games and staying up late. I took the kids to breakfast to say goodbye to Maddie's best friend Ava. We had a great time and the girls were so sad that they will not see each other at school this year.
