California Adventure

We used our park hopper tickets at California Adventure on Sunday. My parents got everyone the two day tickets for Christmas. We did Disneyland in February. Much easier to do one park at a time so you're not too rushed to do both in one day.

We had a great time and can't wait to go back!

April Update!

The month of April has flown by. I can't believe we are heading into the final month of school already. Holden started golf lessons a couple weeks ago. They meet after school every Monday and walk to the golf course. Holden has been loving it and he can't wait to get his own set of golf clubs 

 the girls started Cheerleading again. They love it and can't wait for all the performances coming up this summer

Maddie's Spring Performance

Maddie had her big spring performance last night. She came down with a terrible stomach bug on Tuesday evening. It hit her right before we left for the girls first cheerleading practice of the season. They were so sad to miss out on that. Poor Maddie was so sick. This was the worst case of the flu that I have witnessed. I ended up making her a bed in the bathroom so she would be right next to the toilet, it was so sad. I thought she would miss her performance for sure but she really started to turn the corner about 45 minutes before we had to leave....that was about the 24 hour mark for this nasty bug. 

 She made it and had so much fun! I'm so glad she did not have to miss out

Mother Son Dance

Holden and I went to the Mother Son dance on the 8th. The theme this year was 50's rock and roll. We had a great time hanging out together. Our neighbor Renee and her 2 boys came over to get ready with us 

 we left a little early to grab a bite to eat! It was a really fun night with my favorite boy!!

Play Date

We had a play date last Wednesday with Maddie's best friend Ava. Our family has known Ava's family for years...we grew up going to the same church. It was so crazy to realize the girls were in the same class and that Ava's family lives in Beaumont, such a small world. These girls love spending time together
