Long Weekend

We had a busy and fun Memorial Day weekend. My friend Melissa was visiting from Arizona for her birthday so Kelly and I drove to Palm Springs to surprise her

 after dinner we went to Fantasy Springs Casino to watch a Prince cover band

 On Sunday we headed up to Arrowhead for the day. It was so sunny and beautiful up there. We had a nice BBQ and relaxed on the deck

 I told Nate to take a BIG bite!!! HAHAHA, he almost stuffed the whole thing in his mouth

 Maddie LOVES spending all her time with Nathan. She loves him so much

We stayed home on Monday and just relaxed. Can't wait for this summer so we can do a lot more of that!

Michelle's Baby Shower

On Saturday my mom, DJ, Gina and I threw Michelle a baby shower. We had it at BJ's in Rancho. The girls helped me with a few decorations and making Oreo pops before the shower

 soon to be parents

Mother's Day Tea

On Friday, Holden's class had a Mother's Day Tea party for all the moms. It was adorable. They had 4 different stations set up with a new activity at each station. It was so nice to spend time with Holden in his class and see him around all his friends. That week was also teacher appreciation week so the kids and I made some gifts to thank their teacher's

 at the end of our tea party the kids sang all us momma's two songs they had rehearsed

April Happenings

The month of April flew by. We have been so busy that I have been really falling behind on updating. Here are a few fun school activity's we had going on in April:

April 17th Mother/Son Dance

Holden had a mother son dance at school. The theme was "space" so of course we sported our Star Wars gear. We had a really great time. Holden danced all night with his friends and we even shared a slow dance together.

 April 24th Maddie's Trike-A-Thon 

Maddie's school put on a trike a thon to raise money. We brought her princess bike and she rode around the gym for about 30 min. There were many stations set up with different activity's 

 Sadie was able to participate too

 April 29th Award Ceremony 

Holden received two awards this month. The first was for reading over 100 books for his read-a-thon and the other was for being student of the month. We are so proud of you Holden!!!
