MS Walk

On Saturday we took part in our first MS walk. This was new to all of us so we did not know what to expect. It was a great experience and we will definitely be making this an annual thing.

Sadie got her very first haircut yesterday. With all those curls going on, there has not really been a need for a haircut before now. I took about 4 inches off. I wanted to blow dry it really nice but she would not sit still to save her life. She wanted to sing and dance in my chair the whole time LOL. It does not look very different now but we will see what happens when we wash it and all those curls bounce up. Here is a before pic of her crazy rats nest

Happy Easter

 We had a fun filled Easter Sunday. Holden woke me up at 6 a.m and we headed down stairs to see if the Easter bunny arrived 

 wow, so many spoils

 Maddie joined us around 6:30

 and finally around 7:00, little miss Sadie joined the action 

 after playing with their new toys, the kids remembered to check on the "magic jelly beans"

 after church it was time to get ready and go to amma and ampa's house

Easter Festivity's

We had a great day today. I always work on the day before Easter and it is always such a hectic day with the kids super excited for me to get home to dye some Easter eggs. This year I took the day off. I had the entire day to spend with the kids and we had lots of fun activity's planned. First we boiled our Easter eggs and got them ready to dye

 while the eggs were cooking we played a memory game with jelly beans, whoever got the matching color of jelly beans got to keep the beans 

 after that we did a painting craft. The kids got to decorate their own egg

 while we were busy painting, Ryan hid some Easter eggs in the back yard. After our craft we went on an Easter egg hunt 

 they could not wait to check out what was in all the eggs

 finally we get to color Easter eggs

 while the eggs were soaking in their color, the kids had some dinner

 now it's time to decorate 

 at the end of the night the kids set up their "nest". Holden thought he was pretty smart this year and wanted to use his blanket because it would have more room for the Easter Bunny to fill (smart kid)

 I almost had a "mommy fail" moment and forgot to plant our "magic jelly beans" so we had to plant them in the dark. Thank goodness daddy remembered right before bed

 The Easter bunny was here!!!!!
