Art Projects

 

It has been so hot outside the past few weeks that we needed to find a few ways to have some indoor fun. We decided to get creative and have some paint time. So cute to see how each of the kids come up with a different technic of painting. They also enjoyed using the glue stick and playing with stickers.......

Party Time

We had a little party yesterday at my parents house for Sadie and uncle Petey. Following tradition I wrapped Sadie's gift and left it on the table so that Sadie would see it when she came downstairs in the morning. Holden and Maddie got up a bit early and saw the gifts before Sadie woke up. They took her presents up to her and jumped into her crib to help her open them.....

 

 we headed over to my parents in the afternoon. The kids could not wait to play a game of candyland with uncle Petey

Two Years Old Today!!!!

 

Happy 2nd Birthday to our sweet, sweet Sadie!!! You are the kindest, happiest little girl and we love you to the moon and back

here is what Sadie has been up to:

 

*wearing 2T clothes

*wearing size 5 diapers

*talking up a storm and starting to put sentences together

*loves playing with baby dolls

*takes an hour nap in the afternoon

*sleeps from 7:30pm to 7am most mornings, sometimes earlier

*still in her crib and has never tried to climb out

*starting to really play with Maddie a lot. They love to do girly things like try on different clothes and wear all of mommy shoes

*loves watching Barney and Wheels on the Bus

*LOVES the water

*LOVES to dance

*Sadie is one of the happiest little girls ever. She always has a smile on her face and loves to have a good time!!! We love you more and more every day pretty lady Sadie!!

Visit with the Pearsons

 

Today I took the kids down to visit my friend Tonya who lives in San Clemente. We have 7 kids between the two of us so it is quite the crowed when we get together.

Sea World

 

on Monday we headed down to Sea World to use our passes. Ryan had to work so I took the kids and joined Amma, Auntie DG, Uncle Mike and cousin Nay Nay. The kids had so much fun looking at all the sea life. Deborah brought her Ergobaby carrier (thank god) it was a life savor. All the kids took a turn in it

 Holden really wanted to see the Shamu show so we made it our first stop of the day

 they were filming something so we got to watch as the trainer interacted with the whales through the glass

 we took the kids through a few of the aquariums. They loved looking at all he colorful fish

 we spent some time at the Sesame Street land. While Nathan took a nap we went on an elmo ride and the kids went in the bounce house

We left the park around 5 and Mike found a really cool place to eat in San Diego. It was called Corvette Diner and it was perfect for kids. The waitresses danced and the kids loved it
