Big girl bed

On Wednesday we made the decision to have Maddie and Holden share a room and let Sadie have her own. We got Maddie a princess bed and she was pretty excited about it. The first night was not bad. We did our nighttime routine. After I said goodnight I closed the door and listened, it was quite for about a minute and Maddie said "broda" (brother) and then asked him where everyone was. It was so cute and funny to listen to them talk. My biggest problem was Sadie waking up at 5:30 or 6 every morning but after she has been in her own room she has been waking up at 7:45, hallelujah. Holden however has been getting up about 6:30 but he does not wake Maddie up and she has been sleeping in between 9 and 10. Nap time has been another story. we are still working on that. The first day was a disaster. I had to go up there for over 2 hours to tell them to go to sleep, not fun. I hope they learn to take naps in the same room. On Monday we took the kids to meet up with some friends at Jon's incredible pizza. Now that they are a little older they had so much fun running around and playing lots of games

9 months

Our little angel turned 9 months on the 18. Here is what she has been up too:

*wears size 4 diapers

*wears 9-12 month clothes

*takes 2 naps a day (long morning nap and short afternoon nap)

*sleeps from 7pm-530 or 6am (she really needs to learn how to sleep in)

*talks so much. Words we can understand: momma, dadda, baba (bottle), bye

*absolutely loves watching her big brother and sister play

*loves all kinds of food, still have not found something she has rejected

*tried pasta for the first time (not bad)

Sadie, Sadie pretty lady, you are such a joy to have and we love you to the moon and back!!!

Our little Ring Bear

Holden was asked to be the ring bear in my uncle's wedding on Saturday. Despite the no nap, he did pretty well. He did however have a blast playing with his cousin and flower girl at the reception. Here are a few pictures from our day....

Mothers Day

I had a great Mothers Day this year. Ryan got up early with the kids and let me sleep (yes, 7:30 is a sleep in for me) the kids gave me a really nice card and we had breakfast. Later that day we headed to my parents. It was a pretty hot day so we enjoyed a nice swim. The boys cooked us dinner and it was delicious.
