We have been cleaning out the kids rooms and we came across Holden's old Halloween costume. He insisted on putting it on and making us call him the "Lion King". He ran around the house growling. What a funny kid! Do you think he has grown a little since October? LOL

A little R&R
Ryan and I headed up to my parent's cabin in Lake Arrowhead for a couple of days. My parents watched Holden and Maddie so we could get some rest before the craziness of 3 little ones begins. It was much needed and very appreciated. Seems weird to have a fire in July but the evenings were actually a bit chilly, nice change

we did lots of this.........
breakfast by the lake was super relaxing
beautiful day
Thanks mom and dad for watching the kids. It was so nice to get away for a couple of days.
Ampa's Birthday
Room re-do
Ryan and I have been hard at work (well mostly Ryan) moving around some of our rooms to get ready for Sadie's arrival. First we moved the kid's play room into our dining room. Since we did not have a dining room table it worked out perfect. Now the kids can play and watch their movies in their own room. Here are a few pictures. We still need to put together one more book shelf
Holden is already loving his new area
we moved our computer desk into our living room which is right across from the new playroom. We also put a change table down here so we don't have to go up and down the stairs when Sadie comes
and here is Maddie and Sadie's room. We are far from finished but Ryan painted the whole room while I was at work on Saturday. He did a great job and I know the girls will love it. We still have a dresser, pictures and some wall decals to add.

I will post more pictures when the room is complete
this is our old office downstairs, we changed into the guest room. Needs a little more work but it is coming along

New swing set
Holden and Maddie got a super cool swing set for their birthdays from Amma, Ampa, Gramma and Poppa. My dad, Ryan and Gabe put it together today. It looks great in the backyard and Holden was super excited to have his very own playground to hang out on. It was extremely hot today so Holden wanted to cool off in the pool first

4th of July weekend
We had a great 4th of July long weekend. The kids woke up in a good mood and wanted a little play time in the pack and play
Holden really wanted to play in the water so we filled his big toy bucket with water and let him play in it, this kid can't get enough of the water
he thought Atticus needed a bath
mommy and Maddie
after a little bath it was time for a snack

Daddy went out and bought the kids a play pool so Holden did not have to use his bucket anymore
having a blast in the new pool
I think Maddie had enough of the water
After the kids naps we went to our friends house for a BBQ and swim. Maddie is hanging out with her friend Charlotte
Holden liked the spa, he called it the "baby water"

Holden wanted to have a visit with his sister but that did not last long
time for some sun bathing

Maddie got to join the fun

the next day we headed over to my parents house for more pool time and a yummy BBQ. Here is Maddie's 4th of July outfit
I wanted to get a few pictures before Holden jumped in the pool
all he could think about was jumping in that water so we could not get a smile out of him
