15 months old!!

Our little man turned 15 months on June 25. We just had his checkup and he is doing wonderful! Here is what Holden has been up to:

• Loves books and being read to
• Loves playing with his toys
• Wears size 3 diapers
• Wears 12 and 18 month clothes
• Has his top 4 and bottom 4 teeth and 3 molars popping through
• Says a few more words. He still says "up" for up and down and "nana's" for all food
• Loves water and getting a bath
• LOVES playing outside and cries every time you bring him in
• Weighs 21 lbs
• Is 32 1/4 inches long
• He is running everywhere
• He loves to pick up really heavy things and push heavy furniture around the room
• He puts things away and organizes after he has made a mess
• Still loves fruit and yogurt. Cantaloupe and honeydew are his favorite
• Sleeps from 7pm to 8:30 or 9am
• Takes a 1 1/2 to 2 hour nap in the afternoon
• Loves to give big hugs and kisses

Holden is growing up so fast. He is such a sweet boy. We are having so much fun with him.

3 Months old!!!

Our baby girl Maddie turned 3 months old on September 22. She is becoming more and more alert each day. Here is what baby girl has been up to:

1. Smiling and talking like crazy. She makes the funniest noises and LOVES talking to people.
2. Wears size 2 diapers (they are staring to get snug)
3. Wears some 3-6 month outfits but mostly 6 months
4. Her hair is staring to grow back
5. Loves when Holden comes over and pets her on the head, she just looks at him with a huge smile
6. Sleeps from 10pm to 9am and takes a bunch of naps during the day
7. Still loves her swing
8. Loves getting her diaper changed
9. Loves bath time

Maddie is truly the best baby. She is such a happy girl, we are so blessed to have her in our lives.

Lake Arrowhead weekend

We celebrated my grandparents 80th birthday up in Lake Arrowhead. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time visiting with family. The next day we met up with our friends Travis and Simone and they were kind enough to take us out on there boat. The weather was so awesome and Holden loved being out on the water. Little Maddie slept most of the time. We had a great weekend!

A day on the water

Newport Beach!

We took the kids down to Newport to stay with my parents. They were staying at their time share the week of Labor day. We got to spend a few day's with them. We had a great and relaxing time. Holden just LOVES the pool and the beach, he had so much fun! Little Maddie was such a good girl, she loved being outside. Holden can't wait for his next trip to the beach.
